
Coral Rose Cloutman (they/them) is a transsexual interdisciplinary artist, second generation weaver and printmaker. They are a co-founder of SHED, an artist-run mutual aid project providing paid opportunities to BIPOC artists. In 2019, Cloutman received their BFA in Art Practice from Portland State University. Their work is influenced by queer archival research, gender euphoria, punk and d.i.y subcultures. The visual aesthetic of their work can be described as unrefined, personal and tactile. They are currently living and working in Portland, Oregon which resides on the unceded lands of the Multnomah, Wasco, Kathlamet, Cowlitz, Clackamas, Chinook tribes.
